Have you heard of the artist Frances S. Badger (1904 – 1997)? Perhaps, you are lucky enough to be fully acquainted with her work. Badger is associated with the Chicago paint scene, as she was a longtime resident of the Windy City. Many of her paintings are set in Chicago, although much of her work includes landscapes from Northern California as well as Native American portraits and scenes.
Considered a Modernist in style, she incorporated a variety of different techniques over her art career. The lives of people and the story of landscapes are captured from the paint of her brushes.
So, whether you know of her or not, I am happy to present some of this American artist’s artwork. I think you will be pleased by these representative paintings…
