Here is a fine art painting by Hans Hassenteufel (27 January 1887 – 15 August 1943). Hassenteufel was a German painter of portraits and female nudes. Most of his work was done in an Orientalism style – a realistic look through a slightly romantic lens of women in the Middle East, in harems and from the Roman Period. The red-haired woman in a green robe, featured here, is an example of a woman you might find in some sultan’s harem.
