Last week, my good buddy Andreas Koch challenged me to a beard-off! He lives down in New Orleans and shoots pinup photos too. Check him out online, http://www.nolapus.com! Because of this, we will both be in Las Vegas this April. He suggested that we not trim our chin hairs until we see each other in April. As always, I take things one step further. We need rules and something at stake.
This is what I propose:
We base the contest on new beard growth only starting from today, 2.4.14.
Snap a photo of your silly mug holding a ruler up to your chin. Make sure the ruler is on your chin bone, not your chin, double chin or triple chin. Be sure to take a clean photo of your whiskers as they reach to ruler. Measurement will be taken based upon density of beard, not by any of those super long straggler hairs. Also make sure that the EXIF info is intact so the date of the photo can be verified. Gotta keep this official!
What good is a contest if there is nothing at stake? The winner of the beard off gets to shave the loser’s chin hair off in the middle of the Las Vegas strip! BOOM! How’s that for a prize!
