2 designers―Kaman Wong and Yuriko Hokkai, from Tama Art University’s Advertising major, Graphic Design department.(east gallery space 102 until March 19th)
Concept…….In order to deepen an understanding in advertising as well as the impacts of effective communication, this exhibiton presents a wide array of styles and impulses to reflect the rich possibilities on different platforms. Just like any practising designer who will adopt varying creative methods in accord to a client’s brief, these 2 young designers have also undertaken a similar approach in their research, examining the entire process of an advertising campaign and product development.
Based on the brands of Lonely Planet’s travel guide, and Tokyo Fashion Week, by Kaman and Yuriko respectively, this exhibition brings together two creative scenarios that will invite us all to step into the streets and explore. Their experimental approaches will move us to think actively and awake fresh viewpoints. To put it simply, let’s hang out and discover!
