Las coronas de trenza son un fundamental durante todo el año para mí. Sin embargo, en verano se convierten en un peinado muy recurrente para estar fresquita y cómoda. Para darle algo más de colorido y vidilla al asunto, podemos adornar con flores nuestro look. Ya lo hacía mi querida Frida Kahlo, aunque no fue la primera en hacerlo, y el resultado (para mi gusto) es maravilloso.
Para engalanar este tipo de peinados pueden utilizarse flores artificiales o naturales (ya sean frescas o secas). Las flores de plástico dan un aspecto algo más frío al asunto, pero son más duraderas y es mucho más difícil que se estropeen. Además, son muy fáciles de encontrar y hay de mil tipos a nuestro alcance. Sin embargo, las flores naturales (frescas) consiguen un toque mucho más… lozano, por así decirlo. El único inconveniente es que son frágiles y requieren más cuidado por nuestra parte a la hora de colocarlas, los pétalos se desprenden con facilidad y al cabo de poco tiempo es propio que se marchiten. Para salir un rato es una buena idea engarzar unas flores frescas en nuestro peinado con ayuda de horquillas, pero si queremos hacernos un tocado floral de más de una puesta
lo mejor será contar con flores secas o artificiales.
Podemos encontrar coronas de flores (circunferencia completa) hechas con alambre y otras que tienen como base una diadema al uso. Personalmente, prefiero las segundas ya que además de parecerme
más rígidas, es más difícil que se caigan o se muevan constantemente.
Hay varias maneras de hacer diademas florales, pero quizás la que más asegure que nuestro tocado quede inamovible sea aquella que cuenta con alambre y silicona para fijar las flores. Antes de nada, colócate las flores que hayas elegido sobre la cabeza y asegúrate que no son ni demasiado grandes ni demasiado pequeñas para el resultado que buscas. En mi opinión, las coronas de flores enormes son demasiado opulentas además de contar con poco espacio para una mayor variedad de colores.
Una vez elegidas, atravesamos las flores por el tallito de abajo con un alambre que enrrollaremos en la diadema. Podemos completar toda la cinta o solamente adornar uno de los laterales o el centro, dependiendo de lo que se prefiera. Una vez colocadas a nuestro gusto, fijaremos la base de cada flor a nuestro tocado con silicona, dejamos que se seque… ¡y listo!
