What seems like a bad (or awesome) acid trip is actually a calibration test for a digital billboard. The video (although it appears as an image here) is a test to make sure all of the individual panels are working together to make one complete picture. And actually, if you look about a quarter of the way up from the bottom, you will notice a horizontal line going all the way across and breaking the pattern. This is what they are looking for when doing a test like this.

For everyone else passing by, this calibration test is likely to be much more interesting than the advertisement that will eventually occupy the space!

Mostar is a city and municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the largest and one of the most important cities in the Herzegovina region. It is the cultural capital and center of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation. Mostar is situated on the Neretva river and is the fifth-largest city in the country.

The iconic bridge in the middle is Stari Most (English: Old Bridge). It is a reconstruction of a 16th century Ottoman bridge that crosses the river Neretva and connects two parts of the city. The Old Bridge stood for 427 years, until it was destroyed on 9 November 1993 by Bosnian Croat forces during the Croat-Bosniak War.

Subsequently, a project was set in motion to reconstruct it, and the rebuilt bridge opened on 23 July 2004. Stari Most is one of the country’s most recognizable landmarks, it is also considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans and was designed by Mimar Hayruddin, a student and apprentice of the famous architect Mimar Sinan.
