Brandy is one of my favorite models to shoot with. In addition to being a great belly dancer she is also one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. She is so much fun to shoot with, not too demanding (but she loves chocolate from Mexico, and also very creative. I took these photos at our Retro, Pin-up, and Valentines shoot in February 2009 in Anchorage, Alaska.

Strobist info: I used 2 Vivitar 285HV flash units, one at about 60 degrees left, high position,set on 1/2 power, the other one about 60 degree right, low position, set on1/4 power.

I did this shoot with Chantal in May 2009 in Anchorage, Alaska. She is an aspiring model (with a lovely portfolio on Model Mayhem). Chantal is very tall (about 5′ 11”), mostly legs, great eyes, smiles and freckles – with an incredibly fun and adventurous attitude! We shot indoors and tried to go for a pin-up look.
