Cathy Hartt was out walking her dog on the morning of 12 May 2014 when she spotted this ‘snowslide’ in Montrose, Colorado that shows a thin sheet of snow neatly folding over itself at the bottom of a slide in Buckley Park.
The photo was posted later that day to 7News and TheDenverChannel.com’s Facebook page where it netted over 35,000 likes and was shared nearly 16,000 times.
