An eyewitness captured the deadly blast that struck the northern China port city of Tianjin earlier today, when a shipment of explosives when up in flames. Early reports say at least 17 people have died and hundreds more have been injured.
Tianjin
is a city of around 7 million people just over 100 kilometres from Beijing. The series of devastating blasts propelled a fireball hundreds of meters into the air as explosions were so strong they shook buildings on the opposite end of the city.
