A Bit about Earl Moran
Earl Moran is considered to be one of America’s most important 20th century pin-up artists. He first became well known, around 1932, for the illustration-type pin-up girl. Amongst other artist, Earl Moran is regarded as one of the big three most important pin-up artists along with Alberto Vargas and George Petty.
Artist Moran was lucky enough to use Marilyn Monroe as a model in a series of calendar pin-up paintings before her big break into the movies. See examples in the video below!
