This costume was, to my surprise, flattering: it masked small bumps and sat nicely against the general body shape. The bottom ruffle is a nice touch and also helps create a flattering shape. I didn’t quite fill out the top despite my better than average chest size, so I pinned it to the center of my bra. This worked since the costume front piece has a thin rim of foam to help it maintain the right shape and stay in place. I also had to pin the opening in the back (it’s an opening where the shrug section connects to the dress body), so my bra strap didn’t show through in the back. After the adjustments, however, it did look cute and work well. It was also comfortable, although I recommend wearing bathing-suit bottoms under (as I did), since it’s extremely short and revealing.

Costume is made of good material.I am size 6-8, I am chest:34; waist:31;hips:37 and height 5.6″. I tried XS size in one of the stores and fit me perfectly. I wanted to save money by ordering it online. I ordered it on one of the websites and today I received XS (0-4) size, it says so on the costume’s tag. It was such a disappointment. Costume in unworn state is chest:32 ; waist:37 ;hips:38 which according to the sizing chart of the web site is closer to Small size than an XS size. It is baggy, too long. I would advise to buy it in the store rather than on the website.
