An Invitation In Sand Pinup

One of my favorite pinup artists is Art Frahm. In this post, I present a piece of pinup art by Frahm from the beach. Here is an image of a beautiful woman in a blue swimsuit who has written the words “Come on Over” in the sand. Certainly, this is an invite for visitors!

This was Enoch Bolles’s last cover for Judge, the magazine that launched his career. A few months later they would hire a new staff artist, Theodore Geisel. After a few months this new artist started signing his cartoons as Dr. Seuss. As far as I know they never met.
