Resume of Ms. Marijana Andjelic

1984 – Born in Belgrade, Serbia.

2008 – Graduated from Printmaking department of Art University of Belgrade,
Faculty of Fine Arts

2012 – Enrolled in Master course of Japanese painting department at Tokyo
University of Arts

Held numerous group exhibitions in Serbia and Japan in techniques such as
mosaic, printmaking and Japanese painting. Currently exploring the japanese
painting technique while painting Serbian landscapes. Finding the unexpected
connection between the two cultures.

In collaboration with the International Artist Center (IAC) on July 6th there will be a short presentation about
Serbia followed by Serbian cooking class by Mr. Nemanja Grbic, Attache and
Ms. Tijana Nagato, Secretary to the Ambassador at the Embassy of the
Republic of Serbia. Event will be held at “Sakura Tei”.
