This classic pin-up features a gorgeous woman in a swimsuit who has been hooked by a fisherman while swimming near the beach. The photo reproduction displays the fine talents of artist Edward Runci.
A Sicilian-born painter who moved to the United States in the 1930s, Runci was well known for his paintings of pin-up girls. He also created advertising arts for companies such as Coca-Cola. Although most known for his paintings of pretty and sexy women, Runci also painted clowns, landscapes and was a portraitist for the Hollywood crowd.
