Empire State Building Reflected in a Puddle Photo
Sep 21st, 2016 by Aldouspi

The Art Deco style empire State Building is one of the most iconic of buildings and is certainly synonymous with New York City. The skyscraper is 102-stories tall or 1,454 feet.

Here we have a photo by Ben Hipp that captures the marvelous building as it is reflected in a puddle of street water after a rain. Images captured in reflections whether from a water in lakes or ponds or or puddles or in mirrors or windows have long fascinated photographers and artists… and those who appreciate their work (like me).

After a brief rainstorm in New York City, illustrator Ben Hipp took this creative reflection photo of the Empire State Building.

On reddit, Hipp says he took the photo with his iPhone 5 and rotated the photo 180 degrees so the building’s reflection wouldn’t appear upside down.
