Elgin Park is a lot of things: a 1950’s utopia, a fantastical world, and an optical illusion. Artist Michael Paul Smith’s (featured previously) imaginative town – composed entirely of miniatures – delighted audiences worldwide when his photo series went viral. For the first time, the documentary Elgin Park dives into the life of this charming, reclusive artist to reveal the dark inspiration behind his work.

Painting the Town Red
Oct 3rd, 2012 by Aldouspi

For the love of things past…

Admin at Paint The Town Red

I was trying to figure out what to post, as my very first post. I decided to just introduce myself, and my page, and get all that out of the way. I am the owner of a page on Facebook, dedicated to all things vintage, with a little humor and inspiration on the side.

Honestly, I think I was born in the wrong decade. I am inspired by all of the fashion of days gone by, the stories of Old Hollywood, the scandals, and the love stories. I look forward to sharing all of this with you.

You can find my page at Paint The Town Red. Much love to you all!
